• Medical HQ is a private billing practice - bulk billing is not routine.

  • All patients are encouraged to pay the full amount at the time of the consultation. As a minimum, the gap must be paid at the time of the consultation.

  • Payment in full can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, MasterCard or Visa and through our Tyro Payments system. Medicare rebates can be refunded to your account at the time of payment. Alternatively, you can supply Medicare with your bank details and they will deposit the rebate into your designated bank account within 48 hours.

  • Fees are based on the duration and complexity of the consultation. 

  • Consultations for children under 16 are generally bulk-billed during normal hours on weekdays.

  • A gap fee applies to all other patients.

  • Some procedures such as removal of lesions, will carry an additional extra fee. Details are available from reception.

  • Work cover consults, 3rd party consults (i.e. motor vehicle accidents, pre-employment medicals, insurance medicals, travel medicals and certain driving medicals will also carry a private fee.
