From 20 July, Medicare will not cover any cost of the consult unless you have been an active patient* of Medical HQ within the past 12 months.
Please call or book online to arrange a time to speak with your doctor.
*Medicare defines an active patient as a patient who has seen the same practitioner for a face-to-face service in the last 12 months, or has seen a doctor at the same practice for a face-to-face service during the same period.

Established in 1997 and build by the Hospital Board as part of the Maitland Community Health Centre - the Maitland Health Centre became part of the MEDICAL HQ Group on February 4th 2013. It is the only rural General Practice of the group and located on the Yorke Peninsula.
The Narungga are the indigenous people of the Yorke Peninsula. Dr Georgina Moore and the Yorke Peninsula Division of General Practice, established a medical clinic at the Point Pearce community.
Medical HQ Maitland is a co-operative venture with the Narungga people, the Aboriginal Health Workers employed by the department of Human Services and the GP's from the Maitland Community Health Centre.
